OpenAI’s upcoming model, "Orion", is reportedly not demonstrating the same leaps of improvement as prior models, according to a report by The Information.

The report suggests that one key factor in the slower progress of OpenAI's latest AI model is the dwindling availability of high-quality data for training, as much of the publicly accessible data has already been utilized by AI developers.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman noted earlier this month that limited computing power is also a challenge for the latest generation of AI models.
