Dan Hayes, a two-time alumnus of Penn State, has been named the next head of the college’s Department of Biomedical Engineering. Hayes also serves as a professor of biomedical engineering and is the Dorothy Foehr Huck and J. Lloyd Huck Chair in Nanotherapeutics and Regenerative Medicine. His tenure as department head starts July 1.
