Mr. Panicker in this video explains how well Artificial Intelligence and machines can be deployed to make this world a better place. He dives into the social, political and economic consequences of AI’s after being incorporated into the real world. He reminds us that the situation now is such that we can change the nature but the question still remains that, “What will we do?” He appeals cultures to come forward and answer the question.
An alumnus of IIT Madras, Stanford University, Rahul Alex Panicker is the president and co-founder of the Embrace Innovations. A graduate in Electrical Engineering, listed in World’s Top 35 Innovators under the age of 35, Rahul has worked on multimode ultra high-speed optical telecom systems at Infinera Corporation before he founded Embrace Innovations. Dr. Panicker and a few other fellow graduates created a low-cost and low maintenance infant incubator that works without electricity. He donates these infant incubators to clinics in need. He has been awarded “Schwab Foundation Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2013” and “The Economist Innovation Award for Social and Economic Innovation “.
