Turning Technology into Capability
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has enhanced its focus on rapid transition of technological advances into warfighter capability sets. To prevent the erosion of U.S. technical superiority on the battlefield, DARPA is creating new models to mature developing technologies that will dramatically increase the pace of acquisition. The Transition Breakout Session highlights the approaches to proactive partner outreach and engagement from within DARPA and illustrates the path from advanced research to operational capability with a panel discussion of two case studies.
